Avatar (no spoilers)
Okay, so now that I've got your attention, at least from those who are big fans of the movie "Avatar", let me say the following words first:
"Yeah, about that journal title up there.. I'm just kidding, Avatar rocks!"
Please remember, all this is my own personal opinion, I'd like to read yours in the comments.

Avatar is the best movie I have ever seen, and I'm pretty sure it will stay that way for a long time. And I've seen a lot of movies

.
Sure, there are many more movies that are great as well. Like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings or Star Wars. But none of them have blown my mind away like Avatar did.
You know the feeling when having a wonderful, beautiful dream? And the moment you wake up, you really start to regret doing so.
Multiply that by 10 and you get the main feeling I had, when the credits rolled in.
There'd been many goosebump moments in the movie and some moments that brought tears into my eyes.
Oh and anyone who's interested in females out there.. be honest, who of you did not fell in love (at least a tiny bit) in Neytiri?

Thank you James Cameron for taking us with you to a wonderful journey.

And excellent job on those backgrounds, Dylan Cole! You did an awesome job as well, Ryan Church!
And of course anyone else who worked on that project!

When it comes to this movie, your friends won't be asking you "Have you watched Avatar?".
It'll be more like: "How often have you watched Avatar already??"

2010
Happy new year!

I think the reason it may have affected you so much is that at your age, you came up into an era of technological evolution that progresses so quickly that you were in effect, born (figuratively speaking of course) into this age of Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lord of The Rings. They're all nice but once you seen one composite CG battle scene of armies, you've seen 'em all.
When I think of the movies that blew my mind when I was young, most of the modern teens and twenty somethings would probably laugh at my picks: Blade Runner, Star Wars, Aliens. But at the time, these were all the epitome of cool and different and were "game changers" of the time.
I have always been a Cameron fan, but this is simply amazing for him to be the holder of the 2 biggest box office hits of all time. This guy can do whatever he wants to now. Anytime. Anywhere.
Crazy huh?
Oh and by the way, AWESOME gallery!!
You're amazingly talented!
I also enjoyed watching blade runner very much, it's an awesome movie! and of course I'm a big fan of star wars, too
I haven't watched alien yet (I know, that's rare to hear someone say, that he hasn't watched Alien yet), but I'm planning to change that fact.
I am happy that you calmed your audience down. I loved it too. For me, actually, it was worse to walk out of the cinema into the dark gloomy world...
Now Avatar is second best movies based on gross. The first one is Titanic, also by Jim Cameron.
