What an incredible conceptual application. Upon first observation, the title implies that it could perhaps be some kind of satirical analysis (and thus manipulation) of Mount Rushmore. However, upon viewing of the artwork, we clearly see that this is not the case. Instead, we are presented with this miraculous vista - both magnificent and majestic. The colors here are more subdued than one would think, but it evokes the perfect sense of feeling - a new land, free of the troubles of this one, yet temporal. Furthermore we see that while there is a human presence - the boat - the wilderness has yet to be tamed. The landscape itself has much to tell us - both in the way that it is presented, and in the way it is not presented. The presentation shows us a tactile place in which we can perhaps realize our greatest dreams through work, hope, and time; while the non-presented aspects present us with our fears, faults, and flaws. Perhaps what we can take away from this image is that we can always hope for the best - this bird shows us that even in such an untamed world, full of wonder (and perhaps danger?), there is still life. And where there is life, there is hope. Beautifully executed, this piece takes us to the greatest heights of our hopes with the zenith of precision from future world concepts. What we can take away, then, is that we have these hopes and we must act on them and continue forging our own personal progress to become better individuals, and to finally realize all that we hope for.
Incredible beautiful! Though IMHO it would be even better without that planet in the background. (Why does so many artist here feel they have to include at least one planet in the sky
This is a fantastic piece.
