First of all, I wanna say thanks to both ~viktor187 & ^taenaron for helping me through with this. This project means a lot to me, so I just had to give it another try. Since the wallpaper version I've uploaded yesterday was so horrible, I've decided to open up the project file again and work on it some more.

First, I must say I could not close the window/tab of this picture for some time. For some reason this picture just draws you in and doesn't let you go. I would return and try to figure out a new approach to it, or discover a new detail every time I look upon it.
This piece tells us a story. The simplistic but yet detailed style draws our attention to the highlights: The burning spaceships and the woman in suit. We understand automatically and start to sympathize with her. We try to understand her feelings and the situation in which she is. Our thoughts from there on continue to spin and tumble....
The expression on her face is so beautiful and says so much, and in the same time almost nothing. Is she happy that it ended? Or does she anticipate a new beginning? is that fear in her eyes, or a smile on her lips? Or is she simply admiring the beauty before her?
One thing bothering me is that I can't shake the feeling that I have seen this somewhere. Did I dream of this piece, or did I have a vision? Who knows...
I can only say this is a very inspiring work for me.
